总统山大名叫做拉什莫尔山国家纪念碑(Mount Rushmore National Memorial)，当然也归国家公园管理。
上了台阶，总统们远远地出现了。
见总统前还要穿过一个立柱长廊，立柱上插满了旗帜，是美国50个州、1个特区、3个领地和2个commonwealths的旗帜。这个commonwealths怎么讲？50个州好理解，特区就是首都华盛顿所在的哥伦比亚特区简称DC，3个领地是关岛、美属萨摩亚和美属维尔京群岛，2个Commonwealth是波多黎各和北马里亚纳群岛。
面对总统山的是一个巨大的平台，
平台上面和平台下面都有一排排的石凳，可以坐在这里慢慢品味总统山。
总统们虽然脑型庞大，但是跟整个大山比起来，似乎又显得有些“渺小”。

看着这些总统们，草根想起了一个说法：二百年前中国的GDP在世界上占一个很大的分量，而美国所占微不足道。二百年来中国诞生出无数英明领袖，而美国人只选出一群“弱智”总统。很多总统，不是上面这四位，还要拉出来被嘲笑一通。但是二百年过去后，美国成为世界第一，而中国却直到英明领袖不再管事儿之后，才开始有所好转，个中原因令人玩味。
